Private Onsen and beautiful surroundings. Delicious meals. Had an amazing weekend at this traditional Japanese hotel. The private Onsen in each room was the highlight. Looking out at the snowfall and the beautiful gardens while relaxing in hot water was an unforgettable experience. The food was also delicious, especially the sushi and Wagyu beef hot plate. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby volcano area.

Difficulty sitting on the floor for meals and no indoor shower. Unfortunately, the traditional Japanese style of sitting cross-legged on the floor for meals was difficult for us as we are seniors.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed the complimentary welcome drink upon arrival. The hotel also had excellent facilities, including a garden area and hot spring bath. The on-site car park was convenient, and the free Wi-Fi was a bonus. we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

This hotel is situated in a beautiful location with lovely gardens and the rooms come with their own personal hot springs. the food is delicious and served in a traditional Japanese style. the rooms themselves are modern, comfortable, and the staff provide good service to all guests.

The washing area before the hot tub is located outdoors, which could be inconvenient during colder temperatures.
